Multi-Factor Authentication

Protect your account with an extra layer of security using randomly generated codes sent to your device at login.

Setting Up MFA

Due to security requirements, all accounts and users are required to utilize MFA.  All users are required to set up MFA at login and continue using it each time they log in. 

 

SMS Verification for MFA

You will need a mobile phone number that can receive text messages for SMS verification. You cannot use a Text Request dashboard number. 

The same number can be used for multiple user accounts. This is not recommended.

SMS verification setup is required for all new users at the time of their first login. 

To set up SMS verification:

1. Log in to your Text Request account.  

2. Enter the mobile phone number you wish to receive SMS codes. Only numbers with a +1 dialing code can be used with MFA. 

3. Enter the verification code sent to your email in the provided boxes below. 

4. Click Add Phone Number

5. Enter the six-digit code sent to the provided phone number. 

SMS verification is now enabled and you’re enrolled in multi-factor authentication. With each login attempt going forward, you will receive a new, random code at the phone number you provided.

 

Unable to Log In

Whether you changed your mobile number, or you just aren't receiving the code for some reason, we're here to help!

Have an account administrator email support@textrequest.com requesting MFA be reset for your user profile. 

Our support team will reach out once we've reset MFA and you can log in again. You will be immediately prompted to enter your new mobile number to receive the codes again.
