This integration allows contacts within Zoho to be synced with Text Request, as well as for text triggers to send when Zoho Calendar Notifications are created.

All dashboards within your Text Request account can use this integration on an individual basis. You just need an admin level user within both Text Request and Zoho to set the integration up.

How do you set up this integration?

1. Go to the Integrations section of your Text Request menu

2. Locate the Zoho integration box underneath the Everyday Tools section

3. Select Set Up within the Zoho box

4.  Select Connect to Zoho on the new page that appears

5. A new window will open and ask you to sign in to give Text Request access to your desired Zoho accounts

6. Choose the Zoho account(s) you want Text Request to access, then read through the terms and select “Accept

How do you enable Contact Sync?

When this integration feature is active, any contacts you gather in Zoho will be added to your Text Request account. Additionally, all contacts pulled from Contact Sync will be added to a group called Zoho Contacts.

Note that your Zoho customers need to have a phone number listed inside Zoho to sync with your Text Request contacts. Only contacts that already exist within Zoho will be added to Text Request. 

To set Contact Sync up:


1. Select Set up next to Contact Sync

2. Choose between syncing selected dashboards or all dashboards

3. If you select sync selected dashboards, check the dashboards below that you prefer to be synced

4.  Select Save when finished

You can uncheck dashboards that you no longer wish to have synced at any time by selecting the pencil icon. Selecting the unlink icon will turn off Contact Sync. Unchecking a dashboard will stop syncing, but any contacts that were collected when the sync was active won’t be deleted.

How do you enable Calendar Notifications?

When this integration feature is active, clients who have their phone number listed in your Zoho account will receive a text message whenever you create a Calendar Notification inside Zoho.

These notifications include event Reminders, when events are Created, when events are Rescheduled, and when events are Canceled. You can pick and choose which of these are active. 

To set Calendar Notifications up:


1. Select Set up next to Calendar Notifications

2. Choose which dashboard the text triggers should send from (this will be the same across the different types of notifications)

3. Choose how long before a meeting you want your Reminder text trigger to send

4. Compose the message you want the Reminder text trigger to send (if you do not want Reminder text triggers—but still wish to set up other Calendar Notifications—you can leave this section blank and move on to the next step)

5. Once you’re finished composing your Reminder notification, select the Created notification section next

6. Compose the message you want the Created text trigger to send (if you do not want Created text triggers—but still wish to set up other Calendar Notifications—you can leave this section blank and move on to the next step)

7. Once you’re finished composing your Created notification, select the Rescheduled notification section next

8. Compose the message you want the Rescheduled text trigger to send (if you do not want Rescheduled text triggers—but still wish to set up other Calendar Notifications—you can leave this section blank and move on to the next step)

9. Once you’re finished composing your Rescheduled notification, select the Canceled notification section next

10. Compose the message you want the Canceled text trigger to send (if you do not want Canceled text triggers—but still wish to set up other Calendar Notifications—you can leave this section blank and move on to the next step)

11. Once you are happy with your Calendar Notifications, select Save

Note that any merge fields you selected will pull the information from your Zoho account, so make sure you have the information saved in Zoho.

You can edit your Calendar Notifications at any time by selecting the pencil icon. Selecting the unlink icon will turn off Calendar Notifications.

How do you enable Workflow Actions?


Workflow Actions are an additional integration feature that will require you to collaborate with our development team to set up.

How do you disconnect this integration?

When you no longer wish to use the integration, you can disconnect it by following these steps:

1. Go to the Integrations section of your menu

2. Locate the Zoho integration box underneath the Everyday Tools section

3. Select Settings within the Zoho box

4. Select the Delete integration button at the bottom of the new page that appears

5. A new window will open and ask you to confirm that you’re sure you’d like to delete the integration

Once this integration is deleted, all Contact Syncing, Calendar Notifications, and Workflow Actions will stop. No information gathered when the Contact Sync was active will be lost.

You can reconnect this integration at any time by following the set up instructions above.
